Music should be for life, and I believe you can never stop learning more about music and playing and therefore hence the name EduLife Music!

I have a Diploma in Music in Early Childhood 0 - 8 years and the Certificate of Teaching with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (CT ABRSM).  I have taught clarinet, saxophone, recorder, fife, flute and music theory since 1992.  I am about to embark on my third year of a music degree (as a mature student).

I simply love the clarinet and have almost a family!  An Eb, Bb, A, Eb alto and Bb Bass.

I also play saxophone and especially enjoy playing the soprano and tenor.

I play flute as well but have had to put this on hold for a while due to an elbow injury as playing the flute tends to aggravate it.

I play in several groups - The Ionian Clarinet Choir, The Phoenix Concert Band, London Single Reeds, Five of Herts (a wind quintet), Three of Herts (a wind trio), a saxophone quartet and The Serenata Clarinet Quartet.  I also deputize on alto clarinet in the BBC Concert Band.

In these pages will be the story of my beginnings in music, my instruments, my hobbies and much more.

I hope to include updates to this site on a regular basis with more information on courses/summer schools  I have been on, concerts coming up and interesting facts or music I may have found.
